August Patch Speculation Thread 2023 (Patch is Live)

Hey all,

Sorry for the delay in getting to you all here, I've been all over AHQ this morning trying to get to the bottom of the issue that occurred overnight.

Long story short, there was no patch today. What we had was an issue with the EA app earlier (I believe the technical term was "shenanigans") that caused the app to think that Sims 4 had an update available when there wasn't.

Thanks @luthienrising for keeping this thread up to date as well, you can follow along in the thread on AHQ for this issue should the need arise.

I think we may be getting a patch tomorrow cause I believe they're going to announce the 2 Kits Tomorrow.

Yeah is tuesday so is a patch day

I'm just guessing. It's cause I think the kits will get announced Tomorrow for a Thursday release.

No update today Just the free download. Maybe next week or this Thursday.

Was it a patch? I thought it was just an SDX delivery?

Last game update was August 3rd. Yesterday was just the SDX delivery.

We should be getting the Kit Announcements Today.
