Building Issues

Is anyone having issues saving in build mode? When I build or download a house the game will not let me save it. It says there was a problem saving to my library.
  • I haven't had any problems saving a build to my library. Maybe try repairing the game?
  • I had an issue yesterday with a build/lot.

It saved fine the first time, and then when I went back into that lot to start playing my family, it was acting weird. Like my family wasn't showing up, AT ALL.

Then when I tried to load build mode from manage worlds, I couldn't change the lot type. I got some error about something being "empty". (The lot I had placed was a residential lot on the rental lot in Copperdale, and I thought maybe I forgot to change it from rental and that's why my family wasn't showing up.)

I had added in some more of my mods that I had taken out because I was jumping in and out of the game a lot, and with the amount of mods/cc that I have it takes quite a bit longer to load the game, so until I'm actually ready to play, I'll remove non-essential mods/cc.

When I still couldn't get it to work, I figured it was a mod causing the issue, so I exited the game without saving, and removed all mods that I felt were non-essential for playing (and those that I thought might be effecting the UI and/or world), deleted localthumbcache from my TS4 folder and went back into the game.

Same thing was happening in that save on that lot, my family was not showing at all on the lot and I couldn't modify that lot in build mode.

Luckily I had saved the lot to my library after I had modified it so I had a copy of it.

I loaded an older save and placed the lot (and all of the other lots I had placed earlier in the day for that world), re-added my family and it worked fine in the new save.

So, I'm not sure what the issue was.

I don't think it has anything to do with mods because I don't have any.
