Can Enter Through a Door But Can't Exit Through It
On two separate occasions, I can't understand the behaviour of my Sims.
Occasion 1: Moved a mother and her teen daughter into a lovely house on the beach with a raised porch and stairs, they can enter the house OK but when it's time for the teen to go to school, she won't head out the front door on her own. When I tell her to go, she raises her hand if to say "Uh, I can't do that." You have to tell her to out onto the front porch, which she does and then she goes to school.
Occasion 2: I recently renovated a house and there's an archway from the walk-in-robe into the ensuite. The mother walks through the WIR into the bathroom to use the bath. She gets hungry but she won't walk out of the room back through the archway, saying "Uh, I can't do that." I had to replace the archway with a proper door to get her to leave the bathroom.
