Can you make dough and batter without the mixer?
I'm playing a decades challenge with the simple living trait and I'm only in the early 1900's where an electric mixer was not invented. Is there another way of getting batter and dough for recipes?

In Real Life you most certainly can. I have done it myself. I don't use a bread-maker for bread, either. Half the fun is doing it by hand, you know. Besides, what better way to get out your aggressions than by kneading bread by hand?
