I noticed the first level of the Civil Designer job wants my sim to go interview a homeowner about something (taxes, recycling? I can't remember) but regardless they never get an option to do this. Is this a known bug in that career path? Can I do anything about it? Should I even bother or will they get promoted anyway whether they do the task or not? Kind of like someone actually working in a government job? LOL just kidding
FlamingoKicker Unless something has changed recently, there is an option to do that, but it can be hard to find. It's been quite a while since I played a sim in that career, but I recall the option being hard to find, unlike other options. It's probably one of those options that are not quite worded like the task says and a layer or two down in the menu tree, making it less than obvious. Keep looking for it, as it is there somewhere.
