We never had a pack focused on building in a sims game. Actually I find the builders to be "lucky" when they are releasing packs. If a new pack brings a new feature, they always patch it in for free. Basements in Sims 3 and 4 are the great example.

But yeah having a dark, scary, gothic mansion with a white ceiling is a big immersion breaker. Even while taking screenshots. Sometimes I ask how did they can stand having a white ceiling for the most part.

I've lost all hope for such a needed feature.

I don't expect them will enable that, their focus is not house build.

I'll just say yes I want it... picture taking will be enhanced.

I feel we really need this feature, as some rooms don't look good with white ceilings.
