Changing career branch
My sim is in the journalist branch right now, but I'd like her to be an author instead (I prefer the unlockables). Is there still a way to switch? Cause when I quit her job and look for a new one, it ...

Wow, that's good to know. I was prepared to have my Sims choose the cooking branch, because she wants to be a Chef, but I never saw any popup where I had to select which branch. She's currently a mixologist where she works. But, so long as she can become a chef in the long run, I don't really mind her having the mixology skills. Sometimes it's necessary to match a drink to the meal. Any good chef would know this, I suppose.
