I also have the trait from aspiration that gives interest on funds available, it's what I am used to living on...sadly interest on 0 is 0....
Do any of them have time to go hunting for collectibles? That will bring in a little extra cash.

It's a reward trait for 2000 points - easy to collect if you have Seasons and get 500 points for successful holidays. It reduces bills immensely. All my Sims have this trait.
