Did they remove alien abduction pregnancy?

I have a male scientist that I am desperately trying to get pregnant from abduction. It's been my experience (as some of you may know from my past posts) that such pregnancies are extremely easy, or at least they were.
Now that I am desperate to make this happen, it just isn't working. I'm on my fifth abduction and still no signs of pregnancy.
It was reported back in April in the bugs thread at EA but haven't seen anything about whether or not it is an actual bug.
So I was wondering if any of you fine people (or whatever you identify as) may know something.
I don't know why I'm so desperate to make this happen but my game just doesn't feel complete without at least one alien baby in each household.
Please help an old Simmer out. Thanks!

    Hey just FYI I looked at my old screenshots and the last alien abduction that resulted in a pregnancy in my game was on March 13. I had Growing Together installed as well as any patches that had come out prior to that date. That might help narrow down which patch it was that introduced the bug.

    Okay thanks! I don't know how much any of this is helping though since there has been no response from devs anywhere. We can only assume they're working on it. I think we've given them good information.

    There are no new responses from devs at the thread in sims 4 answers. Maybe we all need to be hitting the ‘me too’ button so that the count starts to climb significant so that more notice might be taken of the issue.
