I moved the twins to Winderburg and I stopped aging now since they are almost adults and I felt like they have barely enjoyed their young adult stage.
Doing the experiment was fun in a way because I had a purpose but it was hard! Both Marla and Carla had to work their plums off (one to get as high a spossible in the career and the other to get the best grades).
I find that the differences career wise between going to college or not are minimal to be honest, the uni sim might get bonuses and such but is not like at that level of the career your sim would be struggling with money anyways. Also the sim that starts working straight away accumulates quite a chunk of simoleons by that point and by the end she was still one level above the graduating sim on the career. And the graduated sim graduated with honors, otherwise it would have been 2 levels.
It is a shame that there's no "growth" for a sim's personality or anything like that for attending university.
To be frank, this is not my style of playing at all so I won't be pushing my sims limits when they are studying nor when they start from level one in the career very often, I like my sims to enjoy life in a different way and I am not focused on achieving the top of sims' careers nor to have them be filthy rich.
I guess the bottom line is that uni is useful for the experience itself (if that's what you like) but it does have little to no impact afterwards in my opinion.
They both married soon after I moved them to Winderburg. Currently they are still living together with their significant others because they both got pregnant the same day and I want the babies to be born under the same roof. I'll probably split the families later after that.

I guess since both husbands have abrely any skills nor any jobs they'll be stay at home dads. Luca write books and Ismael loves gardening.
