Do people actually enjoy and or notice this "feature" with get famous?

So with the get famous expansion pack there is apparently a "feature" where if you make your own music and sell it to a producer it will play on the radio and sims will automatically change the statio...

Yes, I am very aware of this feature. Also, if the artist doesn't keep up with the demand, he'll be summarily fired. The annoying thing about this feature, is the Sim who produced the piece will stop everything they are doing just to listen to it. Also, my Sim has yet to be nominated for the tune, which is played all over the place!
