Do you remember the first time you played a sims game?

I hadn't heard of the Sims because basically my family was anti video game, and then later they started letting me play a couple of games but Sims 2 wasn't one of them because they were opposed to the concept of woohoo.

Unfortunately they were highly controlling and I eventually had to run off and be homeless to get out. I was couch hopping with a friend of a friend and it was December 31st 2009. They let me play Sims 3 on their computer and I was hooked.

I got it for myself sometime in 2010.
