Downloading lots and Gallery question

Hi All,

I am hoping someone can explain what I may be doing wrong.

Occasionally when I get a download link that takes me to a page show as follows to download where does the downloaded lot go? as it does not go into my library as I have never been able to find any lots from downloading via this method in my library ever? so I have to search the gallery in game with the creator name and sometimes this method does not work properly either so I am left struggling trying to get a specific lot into my game?

Also I often cannot follow the creator from the download link either I can click but it does not happen? so I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if someone could explain a better way? Also wondering if there is any way to save all my downloaded lots that I currently have in my game would saving the tray folder be enough?

    it might be a glitch that you aren't seeing what you saved and can't follow, but I generally download in-game so I know it'll be in the library, as for saving lots I only save the tray so I'm not sure of another way around that.

    I am a little off my game experience in 4 and wasn't sure if the system was bugged somehow or I was doing something wrong myself so I will just continue to do it the way I do now which is basically what you are doing as well :) I will save the tray folder periodically too in the hope if I ever have to start a new folder I can plonk it back in and have all my favorite lots-) I am quite ashamed of how little I know about this series still lol

    @SPARKY1922 no problem, no it's not you sometimes it gets buggy using the online one then getting in game, sounds good that will work fine. Ha it's okay you'll learn as you go for sure. :)

    Hello
    Saving the tray folder will keep a backup copy of the sims households and builds that are in your library.
    If you delete a lot or a sims household from your library , the files will be deleted in the tray folder also.

    Thank you @rosemow I am going to start keeping a copy of my tray folder periodically then just in case I ever need to start a new folder :)

    There isn’t a Gallery for XBox One This is what is written on the EA Sims 4 Console FAQ site page

    How will the Gallery work and how can player share user generated content?

    The Gallery will not be available in the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions, but players can still share their experience using the social features that are integrated into those platforms.

    Two Things:
    ONE: is there a way to put two buildings on one lot? ie; small house and fisherman's shack from gallery? wanted to make the fisherman's shack a craft shop/gallery, or some such.. but the game doesn't allow but one building per lot :(
    TWO: i have one sim who owns a vet clinic but she goes to another lot and comes home at closing time. boy is she a mess tho lol. she yells at her customers. it is a little clunky too using the vet equipment. instructions hard to find then follow thru from start to finish. one day lasts 17 hours for her. i'd sell the joint in real life.

    lol. any ideas on these?
