In fact, this specific lot is a farm, and I'm pretty sure it has the "great soil" trait. Hm... but the outdoor plots where they grow most crops do not sparkle, only the planters, and it seems only those inside the greenhouse. Might still be what causes it, though, thanks!
PS: I checked again, and now the sparkle is gone. I noticed it before my sim harvested everything, maybe it sparkles only when there is crop ready to get harvested...
