Enchanted By Nature Worth it Besides Fairies?

I gotta say although I enjoy having occults in the game I don’t play them near as often as I do regular sims. Does this expansion feel more than just its fairies, do the alignments and good and bad luck stuck to the new neighborhood or does it effect every world if you want it too?

An unpopular opinion of mine was that one of my favorite expansion was Love Struck. I also enjoyed high school years because I felt like even though on the surface it didn’t seem like there was much, once you started messing with the new little things they expansion had it seemed to make a big difference in game play. Expanding and shifting it on levels I don’t think some noticed.

Love struck completely shifted sims relationships to me. making it more complicated but surprising and fun. Does this expansion offer little things that make a big difference in sims day to day lives such as the new skills, the good bad luck? Maybe to some those things don’t matter but to me the idea of it adding more depth to the game is what I would want. So does this pack influence the game on a smaller day to day level or is it just all about the magical plants and fairy dust?

  • I'm also not that much into occults, but I was quite interested in the balance system, since I like to add more challenges to the game. I expected it to be a little weird, but I was surprised as to how extreme it actually is: [EBN] Balance system reacts way to extreme | EA Forums - 12335024

I hope this gets fixed or I will have to deactivate balance, which is extremely annoying because it was what interested me the most about the pack.

So this might be good to take into consideration if you want to buy the pack or not.

From one day of playing I would say that the system from Lovestruck and Growing Together work a lot better.

Balance and luck work in all worlds though.

The only problem for me is there is no empty lot to build a home on without destroy sim's home and start all over.

  • This almost could have been split to 2 GPs (instead of 1 EP), fairy pack and nature/natural living pack. But I am so glad it is all in one. I enjoy the fairy CAS, and I think they did a great job of this occult, but I honestly think the fairy novelty will wear off, and I'll go back to human and spellcaster game. Honestly, I just love the repairo, copy pasto and the transport one so much—I have to have at least one spellcaster in a household—but I don't do much more occult type actions besides that after initially leveling.

But I am a huge fan of the alchemy/herbalism/apothecary type skills, the build/buy and I can't wait for my human to start leveling their Natural Living skill for a survivalist/homeless/never home Sim.
