Fix for Festival Lag

Question

Any time I go to a festival, the whole game goes into a weird frozen state where everything is alive but unmoving.

I'm using the simulation lag mod (the updated version in the comments off mod the sims) but it isnt helping.
Any suggestions ?

MCCC has a setting for total number of sims in the current zone.  I tried setting mine to 8 and it made the San Myshuno zones much more playable.  I don't really miss the larger crowds.

You may also find that somewhere there is a child or teen in the middle of doing homework and another sim starts talking to them , For some reason this then stops everyone in their tracks and they all stand like statues until the child or teen is stopped from talking to anyone , or if its your sim the homework is cancelled

You might need to add more RAM, preferably 16GBs of RAM, because the DLCs are adding more strain to the computer system which the system needs to offload it somewhere.
