I wasn't really interested in the concept. Like I wanted apartments, but I wasn't clamoring for them and I didn't think they'd warrant their own EP. (Even Sims 2's Apartment Life shared the spotlight with witches, and featured a bunch of other stuff like reputation and social classes.) But it looks like they tackled the system with a lot of depth and fun. But even then, I'm way more interested in all the crazy-fun side content. Like I gotta gush, sorry
Overall, it feels more lively and full of options than Horse Ranch. Cautiously optimistic about this pack :)
- The hairs are great, especially the male hairs. I love undercuts.
- Marbles and hopscotch are my hero items. It looks like up to four kids can play at a time, which I'm hoping for. We need more stuff that kids can do together. They're probably BB items, but I hope our sims can draw the games with chalk out in the wild, so they can play off lots.
- The BB is so pretty.
- Child of the Village and Fount of Tomarani Knowledge hint at the world having a lot of culture your sims can explore. I doubt we'll get a Tomarani Culture skill, but I like the idea of my sim being able to embrace and take part in their culture.
- Mold!
- Love the new toilet.
- The snooping, B&E and blackmailing stuff looks very fun.
- They're pretty generous with traits and aspirations this time, giving us 5 and 4. All of the traits sound like personality elements I'd love to have in the game.
