So was at the spa an my sim got the whim to meet someone new, so had her talk to the masseus, but then she autonomously got on the massage bed! im like what are you doing atonomy is off completely

  • The problem here is that offering and asking for massages are conversation topics, and tmost of those are autonomous by default. I'll never forget that strategy meeting that included a sim with maximized Wellness skill :(

Same for when a need drops into the deep red, in this case sims will always act on their own, even with autonomy off. This was my pet-peeve for years, because in large households I often had to fetch my sims from all over the place. They really mucked up autonomy off mode in this iteration.

Long story short, you need MCCC to manually blacklist autonomy for all the actions you don't want your sims to perform on their own.
  • An NPC masseuse still has free will. They probably offered the massage rather than your sim asking for it.
  • Please post in link. A lot of stuff is broken due to the recent patches.

  • What's most driving me crazy is some NPC's ability to call my sim away from whatever I have them doing, and some's ability to go from complete stranger to close friend with just a few interactions.

In this case, yes. But the moment you have a sim with a high Wellness skill in your household, you're running the risk of that sim making your gameplay into a joke. I strongly suggest MCCC to blacklist Wellness interactions (you can opt for only McTuner, if the whole mod is too intimidating or if you don't want any other of its features). Once an interaction is blacklisted, it cannot performed autonomously anymore by any sim, player or npc.
  • Yeah, I don't think you can have full non-autonomy unless there's a way to turn off freewill of the npc's as well.
  • I once played sims 4 with autonomy off and the sims still did what they wanted to so no longer bother with it. Nothing beats the days of the sims 1 with autonomy off that was the best they wouldn’t even move unless you told them too.
