Recently, I keep getting these notices. What is wrong? and just what are these? I generally have to do yet another Save As just to keep my progress. Please, and thank you, in advance.

There's an open thread on Answers HQ and QA is taking saves to try and figure out what's going on: Save Code Error: 0.There's some workarounds in the thread too. It's really strange as there doesn't seem to be anything in common with what folks were doing when it triggered.

17 pages on that report already... a lot of people are having this problem. Looks like they are investigating it.

It seemed like it was just Macs at first, then it was also console users, and now it's spread to PC players. I always do "Save As" anyway, because of having lost saves back during the Sims 3 days and I never "Save and Exit" for the same reason, so knock on wood I don't run into this.

Then Aaron took another one of the remaining dishes and placed it into said chest, too. When I opened it moments ago, both dishes were there. So, why can't I place the awards? Do you think (as it occurs to me just now) that the food is preventing the placement of the awards? I think I'll test that theory!

I was getting that error too. The game would not let me save at all. Very frustrating as I was near the finish of the Aliens scenario. I read around the internet and the simplest fix and most likely culprit was to pull the mods folder. It worked and I did not bork my scenario save. I read later that MCCC had a hot fix a couple of days later. I don't know if that was the problem (I only had two mods loaded). I haven't put the mods back in yet.

I got this last night been having to "save as" a new save. hitting just save gives that error and saving to exit (to menu or game) rolls my game back and I lose progress so until they fix it at least for me it's save as then exit without saving.

I hope this gets fixed, its a pita

ETA:
I don't have the wedding pack yet (until they've fixed that too) So my error isn't that pack-related and must be the patch because it was fine before it.

Do a Save As, that seemed unaffected by this glitch, at least so far.

I was following the bug thread before buying MWS and there was someone who didn’t even own the pack, so it may have come along with the patch.

I have to say I also didn't have this problem until AFTER the Patch. (Broken mod, notwithstanding.)
