The next laptop I buy will have to have the largest SSD drive that I can buy. The difference in speed of Sims 4 startup I found far superior to the normal HD. It's just the prices of them put me off buying yet.
My HP i7 Omen gaming laptop, 17" (NVidia 1060) and a year old still runs on Ultra if I want it to, though I change the in-game Options to high or medium to my liking as I need this machine to last a few years yet. I can easily move it around, though heavy but I don't need it for travelling.
I found a small HP 14" with a NVidia 130 and 225 SSD card that I could carry when travelling played Sims 4 too but I don't push it too far!
