Groom Acting Quirky After Engagement Dinner

The dinner was over and the family rallied around to clean up. Mostly, the Groom. Guess he figured he was the host, so why not? I had the food served via the Banquet table, which also housed a gorgeous wedding cake for dessert. He grabbed one of the dishes to 'put away' as I sent him to do, then watched with interest as he proceeded to carry it upstairs. I'm thinking, are you going to put it away by devouring it? No. Sadly, he packed it into the University trunk I had purchased so he could take his Starlight Accolades with him and the Meet & Greet Awards he's won. Guess he's afraid of going hungry once he gets to Uni. Problem is, he's not going for at least two weeks. Squeezing in a wedding and a short Honeymoon before they all take off for Britechester-U. LOL
