Yeah this would be a great time for them to subtly announce that they have either raised the household limit in a way that won't break our games (which honestly seems like the easier option but idk), or make it so pets are a separate part of the household. They might have to make then controllable in that case but I don't think it'd be that big of a deal. The controllable mod shows they only have basic functions anyway.
Yes! This is my biggest fear. I can't exactly have a family ranch full of animals if horses as well as cats and dogs take up all the household slots. They really need to increase the limit or separate it like they did in previous games.
