Another simmer who was having an issue with their grow fruit tree not producing fruit found that by moving their sims to another home, the grow fruit tree in the orginal home lot then started to produce grow fruit. Perhaps try doing that and see if that helps. If it does help, you can then have your sims move back to the original home if you would like to.
I'll try that but it better not mess up my sims jobs or skills or anything.
