I'm not sure if this is a real issue or if I'm just dumb. I was trying to celebrate winterfest and I wanted to invite over the family of my sim. I was afraid that creating a dinner party would overlap...

I used dinner party for harvest fest and it worked fine. The normal goals are gone and you just have a timer like for dance parties. The only issue was not everyone sat and ate at the same time when I called them to meal. I did already have a pie and a salad on the table though and some helped themselves to that before she was done cooking the meal. Next time I’ll have all the meals cooked and on a the table then start the dinner party.
