Is it supposed to snow in the city?

Going through winter ive had only one day of snow in the city

Is it supposed to snow and have the same effects as other worlds? If not that's disappointing would have been great to have snow in the city especially having covered penthouse roofs

Other sims barely even get into winter clothes doesnt even feel like winter
  • Perhaps the probability for snow in the city is just a little bit lower than for certain other regions (like Willow Creek)
  • San Myshuno has little snow... I guess we should blame all the pollution there
  • Yeah, I got snow in San Myshuno on the very first day of winter. It happened so fast that I was shocked :*

  • I had a raging blizzard when I played today. Everyone was freezing even with winter clothing:

  • I haven't had any rain yet anywhere, sunshine or snow falling or snow on ground with sunshine (beautiful BTW) so weather must be highly variable. One day you'll find yourself getting tired of snow falling all the time in San Myshuno..
  • Yes it does snow in the city. People have posted their screenshots in the seasons picture screenshots, my bad
  • I think snow in San Myshuno is more rare than in some other worlds. I played a full year, and there was not a single day with snow in the city. It obviously can snow there, so I guess the snowy winer can't be taken for granted. I think I like that

It snowed every day of winter in my San Myshuno. I'm not too fond of living in the city with seasons though. I feel like unless you make your sim go into the marketplace you don't experience the weather at all. Whereas in a home you can see and hear the rain or snow, but that's probably just me.

@CamaroSycopaChic I actually agree. It's harder to enjoy a lot of the new seasonal aspects in apartments, which is a bit disappointing for me because I enjoy apartments more than houses. :/
