Yes and no, the content I have purchased does impact on how I play, but I also have so many packs already that I don't use all of them every time I play or use only some parts of them. So the packs alone don't tell much about my play style, I think.
If I look at the packs I haven't purchased (at least not yet) I guess that might tell a little bit about my play style. For example I don't have For Rent, High School Years, Get to Work and Dream Home Decorator. Maybe missing For Rent and DHD tells I'm not much of a builder or decorator (though I do that too). I also have heard HSY has a great BB, but it is not enough for me to get it (not a builder). Also maybe missing Get to Work and HSY tells I'm not very much into active careers or active high school? I don't know.
