Is there a way to get revived ghosts forget about being ghosts?

Something has definitely gone wrong as any time I have resurrected ghosts using those in-game methods the ghosts have become normal aging sims instantly. Maybe you have a mod conflict?

Simmers have found that when they brought the Von Haunt ghosts back to life , they could stilll possess things and walk through other sims /walls. They are special sims in the game, who are different from other ghost sims.

Really... hmm.. they didn't behave like that in my game. Maybe because I moved them out of the lot and changed them in CAS using the fulleditmode cheat? They must have a hidden trait tagging them as 'special' for their conversion to not work correctly.

Is there a bug report open on this @rosemow ?

I haven't tried bringing them back to life in my game. I have just read posts by other simmers who brought them back to life.
Perhaps if simsister2004 saves the sims to her gallery, then places the saved versions in her game, it may help to remove the ghost features/interactions.

Maybe @rosemow either that or I've just been lucky! :) Using cheats can cause strange effects!

Ok, thanks for answers. I will try more possibilities out than I have already. Does any of you know or remember, what Matilde died from?

They both died from a fire, if I remember correctly. I hope your issue gets resolved. Must be weird to see living sims do ghost things. :s

Thanks, does anybody have the exact code for reversing ghosts? I have tried several and not succeeded. I used this one: testingcheats on. And after that:traits.remove_trait trait_ghost. And several other codes. But nothing has changed yet.

There is a list of ghost traits listed on this site link, that can be added or removed to make sims ghosts or bring them back to being a normal sim.

I am not sure though if it would be different with these sims with them being the Von Haunt ghosts.

Thanks rosemow. That's one of the codes I have tried already. As it didn't work, I thought I had forgotten what they died from.
