I ask my rl 'kids' (they're YA's) to do housework, it takes them at least a week to get around to it :D
But it is a pet peeve of mine in the game that kids do these things on their own, and also the washing hands thing. I feel like I have to poise my mouse above their interaction every time they pee so that I can cancel it a second before they finish and therefore knock out the impending washing of hands. Probably not good for their bladders to do that to them lol.
Also, my lazy slob-hates-children sim who runs an orphanage keeps cleaning by herself. She's meant to be a slob! I also get her to do mean interactions with the children and the next thing she's chatting nicely with them. Grrrrrr.....
