Kit Packs Are Stuff Packs

Kit Packs sound like Stuff Packs, only called 'kit' instead.

It's just another way to wrangle money out of us. Basically they've run out of themes so they're going to do a few things at a time and they're going to charge a few bucks at a time and slowly crank up the price.

That, or the kits will get smaller and smaller until we're paying £5 for each item or upgrade. It looks big now, but mark my words it'll get much smaller. They'll stop releasing Stuff Packs now, and only release Game Packs and Expansion Packs. Then they'll release Expansion Packs the size of Game Packs. It'll cost a fortune. Of course if we stop buying in protest they'll just stop making.

Since Kit Packs started coming out, we have not had any Stuff Packs.

They certainly make Game Packs look bigger in comparison.

It's not that they don't look good, but there's only so many clothes my Sims can wear at a time.

    7 kits ($35) were released (146 items), it's almost 3 Stuff Packs ($30).

Sp has 60 items but they also have new gameplay and animations too. So technically kits should have items that are more than half of the items for stuff packs. And right now the kits don't even reach the halfway mark. I'm thinking they might get more in quantity and quality with time like sps did. But also sps come out a lot less often than kits do so far.
  • I have all the kits and I am 95% satisfied with my purchases. If Bust The Dust worked off the grid as promised I would be 100% satisfied.

Also, price varies among countries - and in this digital age it should not. I wonder who will be the first to say something along the lines of "It's not happening to me, so it doesn't matter."

In the UK, a Stuff Pack costs £9.99. And a Kit Pack costs £4.99. Kits consist of new skins and clutter. Clothes... well, they look nice, but there's only so much a Sim can wear at once. And we do have SO much good CAS as it is.

Stuff Packs generally had a new functional item in them with new actions, sometimes new traits or even a new job. Tiny Living had a new way of building. Paranormal Stuff had a new job that tied into Occults. Laundry Day had laundry. Nifty Knitting had the ability to knit things for money and to wear.

Stuff Packs are overpriced as it is, but compared to Kit packs...

Anything else might be on Twitch but I've stopped using that until they get their hacks sorted out.
