I guess I haven’t ever gifted a flower ( except for in the romantic category). I have gifted bouquets. Oh well, so much for hoping....

Considering that it's a quest type gameplay, the reaction could be scripted for that particular occasion. That said, one of my sims had a very tough time seducing her husband back after a period of neglect, so it could just be a normal reaction for two sims with no pink in their romance bar.

No, the Give Rose interaction is from the base game.

If your relationship is low and their emotion and traits are taken into consideration it may fail
There's nothing new here, this isn't likes and dislikes
Strangerville offered ways to get stuff from people like fight, flirt, etc. This looks like one of those interactions. This game pack is reskinning many things. The chest opening is from Jungle Adventure and the flying robot is the drone from Get Famous.

I wish. I love preferences too, like Sims not being attracted to stinky Sims was fun.

That would be great. We need better romantic interactions.

They specifically said that if you rise high in one faction, Sims from the opposite faction won’t respond positively to you. I think thats what happened there.

Uh, so what? What the heck good are those going to do except further muddy the mood system in the game.

No. He was just rejecting the sim that's all.

Give Rose came with the base game.

The option to give a rose or tulip as a gift came with Seasons.
