If we're talking TS2 here, I don't miss much of anything (other than a couple of things from TS1 that I think are really cool), because that's my main simming outlet. To add to Cinebar's list: Kitchens that constantly break, detestable fruitcake, extensive areas of the town that I can't get to because they're fake, hostility to CC/mods, inability to leave sims where I put them when playing rotationally, no means of creating my own tied to the household illustrated stories.
