May Patch Speculation Thread 2022 (Patch Out Now) (Emergency Patch Out Now May 27th)

Time to start speculating about possible updates to the game in May. We'll be in a new quarter starting May 1st or 2nd so the May Update could be a big one especially if we get a Gamepack Refresh. EA is teasing us now about Outdoor Retreat. Take this with a grain of salt.

    Hmm I never thought about that with a Possible Expansion coming in July it would make sense to release the Gamepack this month.

    Regarding the patch I hope it adds an attraction system to the game and online dating. We have a dating kit coming out so we need an online dating app and an attraction system.


    I always miss The Sims 2 when it comes to attraction system :'(

    My guess is that we get a small patch tomorrow or Thursday and the first Kit some days later. The GP will drop after the regular end-of-May patch which may bring basic body hair for everyone. Kit 2 follows at the end of June.

    If we do get the game pack this month, and it is werewolves, I really hope that body hair will be a base game update.

    I'm hoping for body hair also. Hopefully, when we finally do get body hair it won't just be for males. I want my females that are actually Spellcasters & Vampires to have body hair so that they can at least look better as my Werewolves.

    It's Thursday and we have no clues, hints or info since May 6th.
    I hope they release something today.

    What I wish (but not necessarily dare hope) for as base game updates:

    • attraction system
    • online dating system
    • body hair


    In addition we need lots of bug fixes. With a date night kit coming out, I hope a lot of those bug fixes are aimed at Dine out so a date can realistically involve a restaurant.
