Mod to allow longer names?

The only downside is that the name will reset upon any CAS changes. But it’s an easy enough fix, I think.

I haven’t had the issue for first names, personally, but I run into it a lot with last names. Especially ones that are hyphenated to use both parents’ surnames. So this is a savior, for sure.

That would be great, thank you! The CAS thing is a pain, but this would definitely be better than nothing!

What always really gets me about this is Olivia Spencer-Kim-Lewis. She's ended up marrying into my played family a couple times, and, like you said, the second I go into CAS I have to then shorten her name, lol. ANd there's no way to fix it! They created a sim name we can't actually play with! With no awareness of the irony apparently! I just...ARGH!

Thank you! It's a rough and dirty solution, but it'll do, lol!

In Sims3 I couldn't use the surname for Spock of Vulcan. It's Talek Sen Dene. So, what I did was jam the letters together to make it fit. TalekSenDene. Worked for me. I'm glad I don't have this problem in Sims4.
