Multiple Shops?

You can own multiple shops! You can even have a shop while your sim has an active/inactive career. But the only downside is that the shop will only be open if any of your household sims are on that lot where your shop is. http://simsvip.com/2015/03/13/the-sims-4-get-to-work-game-lessons/

I don't get the impression any household sims have to be on the lot for it to opened. Where did you get that from?

Thanks! That's exciting. I couldn't decide what kind of shop I wanted my sims to have, so I'll just have one of each. ;)

I think you are only limited by the money you have to open them and the space to open them. If you don't mind sacrificing some of your neighborhood housing I think so. I'm considering turning ....The sandy neighborhood I can never remember the name of into a shopping district and placing all the housing in the grassy one. I'd have to move the library, museum and such to the commercial district though and I don't know if the game lets you or not?

I currently see no way of owning multiple businesses for a singular household. I'm looking for a way right now, actually, because I have two sims currently in two separate households who own their own businesses . Except they're engaged, but I don't want to move them into a single household for fear that one of them will lose their business.


Does anyone know of a mod that allows a sim household to operate two businesses at the same time?
