New EA App
As the title says. at start Origin is pushing the new EA App. Has anybody installed it and how bad is it? Does it totally replace Origin and can we use it the same way, or have they "messed" wit...

Today Jan 26 I started the EA App, to find it needed an urgent important update.
Clicked OK.
It updated.
Seems OK so far.
I also had an update. It was a scary moment. No idea what the update changed. Sims 4 still runs fine, I haven't tested sims medieval and sims 3.
@Atreya33, the update fixed the TS2 icon to show the Ultimate Collection and it fixed it so that we can install TS2 now. But EA_Cade said that they are still doing tweaks to the older games so that they can make sure that they can player on new systems which is good because when I've launched TS2, it launched without a problem but then it crashed to my desktop when I've tried to load into a neighborhood.
I was already able to install sims 2 through the EA app before the update. I will check the icon next time I get on the pc. so I hope it still works. Strange how the bugs are different for different people.
I believe this one was dependent on which entitlement you had for Sims 2 (Store Edition/Ultimate Collection, etc.)
