There is no mention of bands. It's too soon to assume which features we will get and not since the pack hasn't even officially been announced yet, but if bands were in this pack, it would probably be in the description.
If bands aren't in this pack, it wouldn't really make sense. Bands and fame go hand in hand.
Well to be fair there was no bands in superstar either that this pack is somewhat based off of.
The first time we had actual bands that could play together was not a fame pack - but Sims 2 University.
