My greatest concern with the cell phone menu is that the designer thought it was a good idea to use same color on font and background, just different shades. Reminds me of RL websites where designer use grey font on lighter grey background, which makes very little contrast = less user friendly than black on white. "looks delicate" has become more important than "easy to read", now also in the sims world. A cell phone menu should have "easy to read" as the top mantra.

There exist several CC deco phones for TS4, if you want it just for the deco. I found table phones from various eras. Leave a wink if you want me to check what cc sites provided them.
PS: In my RL country land lines will no longer be provided from next year...
