Like I said in a few other threads. It seems like new worlds take way too many resources which doesn't leave a lot for actual new gameplay, which sucks. This is why Seasons feels a lot more packed than most other EPs.
And even still TS3 Seasons seems a lot more jam packed. So sad.
Yeah if you compare the list of features in TS3 or TS2 EPs to TS4 EPs it's like day and night. - wexxam6 years agoSeasoned Ace

The worms in eco lifestyle reusing the rodent animation makes absolutely no sense to me. First of all, I don't know anyone who snuggles worms. Second, I swear in the trailer it doesn't even look like the sim is making contact with the actual creature. Would it have been too hard to make a new animation of a sim rubbing the worm's head with one finger or something? It sure shouldn't be.
Or, like, why love on them at all?
I do a ton of gardening in real life, and I get why they would have a bug house. I'm always trying to get more pollinators, bees, butterflies, earthworms, lady bugs, and all the good critters into my garden. I will admit to talking to them sometimes. :D But never have I ever tried to cuddle with them!! - OldeSimsFan6 years agoSeasoned Ace

I don't really see the issue with them sliding down the ladder - it faster!

Unique traits animations are nothing in this game. I feel like traits are now an afterthought. I mean look at the Knitting Stuff Pack. They create an Play in Rocking Chair animation for children and toddlers but not for adults. This is important because we have the Childish trait in The Sims 4, and since the animators won't do the animation for adults sims, the result is that Childish traits are now forgotten or nothing to do childish. I never even remember the last time we got an child interaction for childishsims. Even the Voidcritters or the imagination effects does not happen to them Sad.- @Amapola76 what makes less sense is that you can cuddle something that your sim will eat later... thats so inhumane... so cruel. But, pet houses?! No, pet houses are cruel. Here... take a 2D rug for your pet to sleep.

I think eating the bugs is optional. - Babykittyjade6 years agoSeasoned Ace

I agree here actually. I love childish sims and use them alot. They get left out of so many activities I feel they should have. I hope that gets an update one day! - yeah, the recycling of animations and lazyness of new ones is a true let down...I love good animations, there are a lot in this game that I really like but they are overshadowed by the constantly repeating ones (for different actions).
sliding down the ladder screams lazy, it's like the teleportation in Island Living (from water to watervehicle and vice versa) all over again...
I am HOPING they sacrificed the "climb down ladder" animation for a different, new one (or multiples) that we just haven't seen yet.
In general I can understand sacrificing rather unimportant animations for more important ones (I mean who is gonna actively watch their Sims climb up and down the ladder all the time?) and this would be okay if there wasn't an obvious big lack of differing animations (just look at the conversation animations, the same ones over and over again for many different topics). - amapola766 years agoSeasoned Ace

I have no earthly idea what you're talking about.
(a) I didn't call the "pet houses" cruel. (I assume you mean bug houses, as there is no such thing as a pet house in TS4.
(b) I personally don't cuddle anything in real life that I then eat.
(c) I'm not aware of anything currently in TS4 that a sim can cuddle and then eat.
(d) I'm not aware of anything even proposed in TS4 that one would cuddle and then eat.
I mean, at a major stretch, you could say people have asked for chickens. But who cuddles chickens in real life? I mean, I guess I know of a few people who would, but they are usually keeping backyard chickens as pets, and collect the eggs but don't eat the chickens themselves.
