Outdoor Retreat or Jungle Adventure?

I really like the Herbalism skill. The Archaeology skill and the other parts of Jungle Adventure are fun, but if I could only keep one, I would keep Outdoor Retreat.

Much prefer OR. A relaxing woodland holiday is my kind of thing. Didn't buy JA.

I only have Outdoor Retreat at the moment so can't comment on Jungle Adventures but I think OR is pretty cool. I don't usually go on holidays but when I do it's been fun XD

My honest opinion is that Outdoor Retreat is really boring compared to Jungle Adventure. OR was the first Game Pack so "it's not as good as" the recent GPs because the team didn't really understand the potential of GPs.

Jungle Adventure also feels like a really large pack compared to Outdoor Retreat. I've had OR since it came out and I've used it only 2-3 times.
It's my least favourite Game Pack and I still don't know what to do with it.

I found OR to be very dull and wanting to return from vacation after 2-3 days tops, even though I always booked a 5-7 stay. I didn't find there was a whole lot to do. JA, to me, was what a vacation destination should have been. There's so much to do and (for me) there's always a reason to want to go back. I never wanted to go back to GF after one visit. I do, however, like the herbalism skill as well as the camping equipment. OR does complement JA, but I can't say the same for OR. There is just nothing in GF to do. However, you can use your herbalism skills, as well as some of the camping equipment when you go to Salvadorada.

I find outdoor retreat a little boring, I can't find anything to do there after a while where in jungle adventure there is so mich to do from visiting ancient sites to learning local dances.

I like the trees and the log cabin look for buildings in outdoor retreat but otherwise I never use it. On the flip side, I've played the Jungle Adventure extensively and like the different exploring that sims have.

Never ever buy outdoor retreat; it's a mosquito and other bugs pack :D sure, they include herbalism skill but what for? There are more productive ways to release stress and anger. I can't say so for Jungle Adventure because I don't own it, It's doesn't appeal to me at all.

I think they're both cool, but Jungle Adventure is more advanced in comparison, however it's also harder and requires more skills. If you can only buy one ever, get Jungle Adventure.

If you're going to buy both eventually though, start with Outdoor retreat first because that way you won't be disappointed by buying it second.

I like the fact that both packs can be used interchangeably. Herbalism skill is very useful in the jungle and camping out in GF is fun but camping out in the jungle is also dangerous. :D I like both and use both all the time.
