I doubt it, and I would hope not. I have nothing against occults but I think the game is missing some more fundamental stuff at the moment.
There are things I would like such as Farming, but to stay in line with what you said, grocery stores, grave yards, liberating infants/adding content/clothes for them, & some more careers(housebuilder, babysitter, farmer, interior decorator, stylist)would be nice. What things do you have in mind?
I like vampires, but I didn't really care for the rest and basically didn't play them except basically once, except for mermaids & I played S3 extensively. I don't see them releasing many or even two in a year/year and a half period because it is a hit/miss. There are loads of people who play without them/realistic/family/ect. and many of them might not be interested in that kind of play. It was easy in S3, because they were lumped together and you had not only a variety, but many CAS/build/buy items that made it worth the buy. The potion store & potions were useful even if a person played without supernaturals.
If they do, I'd rather have angels or something we haven't had. I did like the mermaids, but they would have to open the sea & we don't even have beach stuff/floaters/ect. with Seasons. I loved the Dragons we got and would love easily acquired Unicorns/Pegasus. I wouldn't mind if they came with some EP, like say witches with goth stuff, more Grim interactions, grave yards, ect.
But, strait up witches/supernaturals alone, no. I don't think I would be happy with them. I would like potions though, although sims might be able to make them on a large chemistry station.
