Patchy is truly irresistible <3

Where can I find Patchy?

You can find Patchy in build/buy mode. I forget which category he's in though.

You guys know that you unlock his outfit by befriending him, right? So even if he's not around, you can dress your other Sims up as him.

I added Patchy to one of my households, hes pretty cute under his scarecrow outfit. I was playing a legacy household and he came onto the scene at about Generation 2. He helped look after all the babies and toddlers, he cleaned and gardened. He was such an important unofficial member of the household (at the time). A few of my family members flirted with him over the years but never had a full romance with him.


I was really upset when he got struck by lightning and disappeared. I bought a new post and he kept coming back for a while. Then I had a housefire and that Patchy disappeared and the replacement one took his place. Replacement Patchy was Evil! I wanted my family's Patchy back! I was able to get him back by adding the Evil Patchy to my house, moving him out and starting a new household, then deleting him. Then my original Patchy turned back up. Phew!



When I got to generation 10 and decided to play with aging off and added him to the household as a permanent member. My Patchy is pretty goofy, no romance for him yet. He has a few quirks. He won't shower autonomously, I always have to direct him to and when he does, he showers with his clothes on/never changes to nude outfit. He also doesn't wear appropriate clothing. I gave him another outfit category so he could look human when he wanted to. He sometimes wears his outerwear to bed and sometimes he'll wear his PJs outside in winter. Oh and the biggest thing is, he can never be included in group activities or to travel unless he is the one doing the inviting. He never turns up as an option if somebody else is selected.

I'm guessing that's because he wasn't meant to be added to houses? I know he can only be moved in through cheats but despite the little problems, I am so glad that I finally brought mine to "life". Now I need to find him some romance!

I'd love to see patchy children. It would be cool if they turned into plant sims!
