Whoever authorized this should be fired, or demoted. I don't care how many times they SAY that they are listening to us and that they hear our concerns and that they are making this game for us, because it's clear that they are doing no such thing right now. If this were an option in any of the many polls and surveys they have done over the years, I'm convinced it would have done very poorly, but they wanted to make it anyway, so why give us a heads up about it so that we could be vocal BEFORE it was approved for production.
Edit to clarify: I'm NOT saying it was all the gurus fault for this and that they should be fired. I'm saying whoever decided that THIS was the best pack to make next be stripped of their authority to make choices like that. It's very possible that it was an EA exec or EA higher up and the gurus had to comply with that choice. When there's a mistake and backlash of this magnitude in just about any other field, someone usually pays the price, and why should it be any different in this instance.
