I love this post. I feel less weird being a 44-year-old who still plays. I've been playing since the beginning and I still own all the Sims 1 and 2 games for the PlayStation 2, minus The Urbz (I think it got lost back in the day when it came out). I switched to PC with the Sims 3 and 4. I also have the Sims 3 Medieval and Pirates, which I still play from time to time. I wish they would create a Sims 4 version, but sadly I know that will never happen :(
I was a late bloomer, I didn't start playing the Sims until I was 50. Bought Sims 2 University with money from my MIlestone birthday. ;) Hadn't had birthday money in decades. It was fun.
