I often find myself filled with anger when it comes to the sims 4, especially when i see people so quick to defend it. do they not know about the past? though i remember lots of feelings about past...

I thought that The Sims 4 was a good step towards a return to form after The Sims 3. There was so much I didn't like about that game, ranging from big stuff like the numerous technical issues and the removal of the personality matrix for traits (an unfortunate legacy that is still with us in The Sims 4), to nitpicky things like how irritatingly slow the mascot that comes to your door the moment you start a new game walks and vampire alters (seriously, what is up with the vampires in that game?).
Some people love The Sims 3 in spite of these things. It certainly isn't my view, but it doesn't make me angry. Why should it? It's just a video game.
