I'm sorry, but I just have to throw my two-cents in again.
While I can somewhat understand that some of you may not like the idea of lactose intolerance coming to the game, it is not fair by any means to ask for it to be removed from the game. And even a bit selfish, I feel. This is an optional trait that you as a player can choose to add to your sims or not. If it bothers you that much, just don't use the trait, and if you have MCCC, blacklist it so that no randomly generated townies get it.
Don't ask for it be removed just because you may find it offensive. If the devs nerfed and removed every little thing that could be triggering or offensive to somebody, we wouldn't have any game left to play. If you think hard enough about it... almost anything in the game can be considered offensive to someone in one way or another.
I mean, the fact that Sims can get sunburnt in Sulani if they sunbathe without sunscreen could be offensive to someone who has super fair skin and burns easily. Should sunbathing be removed from the game altogether? Or how about swimming? Some people have a phobia of water or drowning, and some people may have even had a near drowning experience. Or what about people who are scared of dogs? Do we just nerf them as well, despite the fact that some people love having dogs in their game?
There are so many things in the world to actually be mad about... and yet people are offended by an optional trait in a video game? It just doesn't make sense to me.
