Removing Vampire Power Points?

I downloaded some awesome vampire Sims from another Simmer, but I they came with a lot of vampire Power Points, and I think it would be more fun to have them earn the points. I've tried a bunch of different cheats, but I can't seem to get rid of the Power Points. I also tried turning them human and back into vampire form. Do you have any suggestions?

    It's possible if you use MCCC. If you don't, you can always install the mod, run the cheat and uninstall when you're done.

    I can do it without MCCC.

    1) sims.get_sim_id_by_name firstname lastname
    2)bucks.lock_all_perks_for_bucks_type 40962 simid false
    3)bucks.lock_all_perks_for_bucks_type 40961 simid true

    This works for me. I had it saved in a sticky note because I use it a lot.

    Thank you very much. I actually tried this method (including some experimental variations), but it didn't work for me.
