Actual thing. He's been getting various job offers due to his fame and likely his Pristine Reputation. But, yeah. I've had him turn things down systematically. But due to his broken relationships I did contemplate, for awhile, having him move into the Entertainment Career, so that I could send him to work, and keep his household in good order. Don't like seeing the tots not being properly cared for, even when an adult is left with them on the home lot. But, I finally decided to try the disable needs part of the Make Happy Cheat. I just get their needs all the way up and click on disable them so they don't slip once I follow him to 'work'. Once he's back I'm enable their needs decay again. Problem solved. I just don't understand why it took me so long to come to this conclusion. LOL Guess because I really try not to cheat with the toddlers.
