I live in the US, so I don't know what it's like to live under the King's ruling... (maybe an Emperor or Dictator in your country), so my Sims stories would be WAY off, as far as accuracy goes!
So this would be a pass.

Well, I don't know much about how vampires actually live, but I loved playing with the vamp pack although my set up might have been a little BIT off ;)
Seriously, the pack title includes "legacy", so I would expect some good non royal content, too.

Now, a Dear Leader/El Comandante type of government might be fun gameplay if possible. 😁🤣

When has the Sims been known for accuracy? Cow Plants anyone? 😀
Plus history classes, tv shows, books. Plenty of inspiration.

I can only answer for western European monarchies. In Europe Kings and Queens (also the Prince of Monaco and grand Duke of Luxemburg) are mostly ceremonial functions. They have prestige and influence and can represent our country for some occations. The actual ruling, the politics however is done by ministers and parliaments which are chosen by elections. We have a king in my country but the highest political position is that of the prime minister. The Kings as absolute rulers of a country is part of history in Europe.
