Sims changing into ridiculous shoes when wearing a towel xD

I've noticed this a lot recently but basically if your sim changes into a towel using a locker you get some... interesting shoe pairings. I'm sure this is a bug but I find it hilarious to see all the ...

Ugh, I very excitedly sent 8 sims to the spa and they were borring. In a towel they are barefoot and in a robe they wear matching slippers :/
@Onverser Do you have mods or cc that could cause this? I play Vanilla except for baby outfits I made.
