Sims eat too fast!

I just use a mod that keeps Sims seated after they inhale their meal. This way the fam can socialize for a few minutes, raise their socials and act as if they're a real family. I don't understand all the fuss folks are making over this issue when there are so many mods that allow the player to tweak the game to match every player's gaming style. I would much rather use a mod than depend on the teams to make these kinds of changes. When the teams made the changes to our Sims's eating habits; they, supposedly, also changed how long it takes for our Sims to shower, bathe and prepare the meals. Funny, I haven't noticed any changes to showering, bathing or food preparation. But I dislike the speed at which my Sims eat. And with all the hype over the recipes in this game, that are made with ingredients our Sims grow themselves, it's a bit of a waste to see all their hard work not being appreciated more. But we get what the devs give us. Even if we didn't ask for some of those changes in the first place. I thank my stars we have a great group of modders, or I would have quit Sims4 long ago. Do I want the devs to change it again? Heck no. The word 'moderate' doesn't seem to mean much to the devs. It's either too much or too little, there is no such thing as a middle ground in their world. :/
